PH Army hires 1K new officers
MANILA – The Philippine Army (PA) is now looking for 1,050 people to fill its officer positions for this year.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Colonel Xerxes Trinidad, spokesperson for the Palestinian Authority, said the number was part of the total quota of 2,109 locations for recruiting army officers this year.
The PA has allocated 400 places for the Officer Candidate Course (OCC); 400 for the preparatory courses for an officer (OPC) classes 73 and 74; 100 for the OCC-Reserve Officer Training Corps (OCC-ROTC); 100 for the Active Duty Training Call Tour (CADTT); and 50 for the direct commission.
Trinidad said the recruiting was aimed at continuously building up a force to advance the organization’s operational gains and ultimately end the insurgency in the country.
“This is a great opportunity for everyone, especially for young people who want to serve their fellow Filipinos and our beloved country,” said PA chief Lt. General Andres Centino.
He added that the Palestinian Authority carefully selects the best and brightest who will be the future leaders of the organization fulfilling the noble duty of protecting the peace and stability of the nation.
