Nigeria Professionals Forum declares support for Tinubu-Shettima

The Nigeria Professionals Forum (NPF) has declared its support for All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Sen Kashim Shettima, saying Nigeria needs tested hands to steer its affairs at this critical time. .
According to the professionals, it is no longer time to sit on the fence and allow those who have nothing to do with governance to take charge of the affairs of the country, noting that their willingness to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Shettima follows extensive consultation with various stakeholders across the country on their policy alignment heading into 2023.
Speaking to reporters after a courtesy visit to the National Managing Director of the APC Professionals Council in Lagos yesterday, the Head of Delegation and National Chairman of the NPF, Engineer Richard Okon said several milestones are associated with the former Governor of Lagos State, both as a political leader. , a mentor, an administrator and a nationalist who makes him an ideal candidate to lead the country in 2023.
“If you look across the country today, there are only a few people who can match Asiwaju’s pedigree in terms of administrative prowess and leadership dexterity.

“He was a man who laid the foundations of the new modern Lagos that we are proud to associate with today, the Lagos that created wealth for Nigeria and its neighbours.
“He is a man who boasts of an enviable record in terms of educating a fine crop of leaders who today contribute their quota to building a new Nigeria.
“He is a man, while he was governor, who brought together members of his cabinet from all ethnic groups and religious alignments in Nigeria without discrimination. He is the kind of man who should lead Nigeria in 2023 and 17 million professionals across Nigeria support him,” he said.
Receiving the delegation, the National Director General of the APC Professionals Council, Hon Seyi Bamigbade expressed his gratitude to the more than 17 million professionals from all sectors in the country comprised of engineers, bankers, sailors, journalists, artisans, ICT specialists, medical workers, educators and more to identify with the party and its presidential candidate, ensuring that they will not regret their support.
He expressed the readiness of the council under his visionary leadership to continue to raise the bar for effective leadership by mobilizing more support for candidates who will work for all Nigerians.
