Mark-Anthony Kaye offers an “easy choice” for Colorado Rapids

The Colorado Rapids has once again plunged into the trade market, this time for their most opulent fees of all.
Kaye’s transport is by far the most expensive of the bunch as the price wasn’t cheap, but the Rapids believe it will be worth it.
âFrom a character perspective, it was an easy choice. As a player it was an easy choice, âhead coach Robin Fraser told the media briefly at a virtual press conference.
Kaye was a long-term target for the club.
The 26-year-old Canada international made 77 appearances in three-and-a-half seasons with LAFC, most notably as a full member of their record-breaking team in 2019. He won the 2019 Fan Shield with the Black & Golds and a helped qualify for the 2020 Concacaf Champions League final. While in Louisville City, he won the USL Cup in 2017.
âMark-Anthony Kaye has been a player we’ve been looking at for quite some time,â said executive vice president and general manager Padraig Smith. “As everyone now knows, we are very keen to try to bring in players who raise the whole group. There is talk of winning as a team and we felt it was really good fit for this group. someone who could come to add to what we have built over the past years. We’ve targeted for some time. It took longer than we wanted to, but we are happy to have now ” .
