Delhi Chief Minister and AAP National President Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday announced jobs for young people, unemployment benefit of Rs 5,000 per month for unemployed family member and 80% reservation jobs in both government and the private sector for young people in Uttarakhand in a big push ahead of the next assembly polls.
Addressing a press conference in Haldwani, the chief minister made six announcements addressing the issue of unemployment and distress migration in the state. The “biggest problem” in Uttarakhand is “distress migration,” the chief minister said, adding that Uttarakhand is now called “palayan pradesh” and young people in the state are extremely unhappy. Glancing at the ruling BJP in the state, Kejriwal said, “So if you give the vote to the BJP you will get a new CM every month, and if you give the vote to the AAP you will get stable CM. for five years that will provide jobs for young people. Recently, the BJP replaced incumbent chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat with Pushkar Singh Dhami. It was the second time that the BJP replaced its incumbent chief minister in the state this year with Trivendra. Singh Rawat giving way to Tirath Singh Rawat earlier this year.
The chief minister made six announcements elaborating on the state’s promise of job creation for young people. “If the AAP forms the government of Uttarakhand, every unemployed youth will be offered a job, because until the job is provided, a family member will receive 5,000 rupees per month, which can be called unemployment benefit, 80% of public and private sector jobs will be reserved for residents of Uttarakhand, one lakh of government jobs will be created within six months of government formation, ”Kejriwal said.
The other two of the six are creating a job portal modeled after that of the AAP government in Delhi which brought together job providers and job seekers and, the creation of a ministry to fight against the distress employment and migration. Elaborating on the tasks of the new ministry it is proposed to create, the chief minister said he would create employment opportunities, take the necessary measures to stem the distress migration of young people and create conditions for young people. migrants who wish to return to their country of origin. .
Explaining further how such a costly task can be accomplished, Kejriwal pointed out that 50,000-60,000 vacant positions already exist in government, furthermore, many schools, roads, mohalla clinics will be built and pointed out that the portal of Delhi government employment had attracted ten lakh announcements. “A lakh of jobs will be created in government, the private sector has a lot of potential to create jobs, the tourism sector has endless potential. In fact, important infrastructure would be created for tourism, wildlife, adventure tourism, biotechnology industry, people from all over the world will come here, ”said Kejriwal, highlighting the potential of the private sector, in especially the tourism sector in the state.
Kejriwal also highlighted the party’s promise to develop Uttarakhand as the spiritual capital of Hindus around the world and said that this single announcement opens up the space for unlimited employment opportunities. Repeatedly endorsing the capabilities and intent of Uttarakhand’s AAP chief ministerial candidate Colonel Ajay Kothiyal, Kejriwal said that “Kothiyal Saab” has secured ten thousand jobs for young people while he ‘had no power but had a wish in her heart to provide a youth job and therefore has the intention, the desire and also knows how to do it.
Drawing on his experience leading the Delhi government for six years to answer questions about the feasibility of such pledges when the state’s financial health is poor, Kejriwal said governments are not short of resources but lacking in resources. ‘intention. “The 2019 CAG report shows that Delhi’s loss-making budget has turned into a profitable budget in six years. The CAG report says that in the whole country, only Delhi has a surplus budget. What have we done? We have eliminated corruption. “30,000 crore to Rs 60,000 crore while the other government collects income of Rs 60,000 crore, drains the same into corruption, then goes to the people justifying an increase in electricity tariffs on the back of rising coal and transportation tariffs and asked what is a better government.
“Likewise, Uttakhand’s finances will be put in order, corruption and evasion will be stopped. This is why we have chosen an honest man as our chief ministerial candidate, ”the chief minister stressed as the AAP campaign gained momentum in the election-linked state.
Responding to a question on whether the newly appointed officers would receive tickets in the next parliamentary elections or whether those with “thalis” would be rewarded, Kejriwal said there was no “thali” system. in the party, but that not all members of the office would. get tickets as some are also needed to organize the party. The chief minister, however, made an open appeal to the “good people” from other parties, who he said “felt choked” to join the AAP if they too fight for a Uttarakhand. prosperous, the problems of electricity, water and roads. “… In other parties too, there are good people who feel suffocated. All those who want prosperity in Uttarakhand, who want to fight for electricity, water, state roads and who are honest are welcome in the AAP, quit your parties and come to the AAP, “said the chief minister.
Earlier, Kejriwal congratulated the people of the state on the start of the “Char Dham” yatra. Without naming either the BJP or the Congress, the chief minister said that 21 years have passed since the formation of Uttarakhand, but in those 21 years these parties, these netas have spared no effort to create the woes of Uttarakhand, plundering rivers, mountains, forests, they plundered anything they could get their hands on adding that the AAP, along with Colonel Ajay Kothiyal and the people of the state worked out a plan to rectify everything that has gone wrong in Uttarakhand in 21 years in 21 months.
Kejriwal and Colonel Ajay Kothiyal then organized a roadshow in Haldwani. This is Kejriwal’s second visit to the election-related state in two months, with the first taking place in the second half of mid-July.
